First, confirm that you’re using the correct NCES School ID. You can look this up here: https://nces.ed.gov/ccd/schoolsearch/
Search by your school’s name, city, and state.
Copy the 12-digit NCES School ID from the results page.
In the portal, go to My Schools → Add Another School (or edit an existing one) and paste the NCES School ID in the appropriate field.
If your school is not in the NCES database, you can still register it by manually entering all required information in the Add Another School form. Make sure the details are complete and accurate to ensure eligibility for the Clean Air School Challenge.
